Love music?

There’s a place for you at Bethany.

Music Ministry at Bethany

During 2000-2001, the music portions of online worship services were produced and posted on YouTube.
You may view these archived videos here.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bethany has been exploring new ways to incorporate music into the life of the church.
It is a challenge to foster the appreciation of music when there have been so many restrictions on public gatherings and singing!

Since March 2020, Bethany worship services have been videotaped.
Lyrics appear on the screen so you can sing along at home.Sunday services have been videotaped for at-home viewing. The entire selection of videos is available here.

As always, guest musicians are a welcome addition to any of our services.
Contact Rev. Jesse Larson if you are interested in “making a joyful noise unto the Lord” at any of Bethany’s upcoming worship services.

Choir & Music Ministry (in Non-Pandemic Times)

Bethany’s Chancel Choir performs an anthem several times a month during the school year (September-May).

Vocalists and musicians with busy schedules who wish to participate only during special times of the year (such as the Christmas and Easter seasons) are welcome!

Soloists, small group ensembles and instrumentalists are welcome as guest artists, particularly during the summer months.

Among the special musical events held during the year are the Sing-Along Messiah in December, open to everyone in the community to enjoy as a singer or listener.

Music Appreciation Sunday is traditionally the first Sunday in June. All who participate in any aspect of the church music program are honored that day.
