Death brings loss, sorrow, and grief to all. In the face of death, we affirm with tears and joy the hope of the gospel. We are sustained by the power of the Spirit and the community of faith.
When death comes, Bethany—through its pastoral care team—immediately offers the ministry of presence, of shared loss and pain, of faith and hope in the power of the resurrection, and of ordinary acts of care and love. We are able to assist with special pastoral care to you and your family during the time of grieving and adjusting.
At Bethany, we see all of our funerals, memorial services, or remembrance services as services of Witness to the Resurrection of Christ. These occasions help balance mourning with the witness to the promised life in Christ. You do not have to be a member of Bethany, or of any church, to request a service here. The cost is nominal. We offer a ministry of love and hope to all who grieve.
