Week of April 29, 2024 — UPDATES
SEVEN Bethany members and friends showed up at the church Food Closet volunteer morning on April 29 to lend a hand.
After four years of leadership at Bethany, Rev. Jesse Larson left his position as pastor due to budget constraints. His final Sunday in the pulpit was April 28, a day marked with sadness as well as celebration for his commitment to the church throughout very difficult times.

FROM THE PASTOR
This coming Sunday, April 28, will be my final Sunday as your pastor. It is a bittersweet time of saying good-bye, but we are also faithfully looking to our future, knowing that the Holy Spirit is with us and all shall be well. So let's gather together to worship God—to celebrate our time together and to give thanks to God for the blessings that have been showered upon us. We'll be focusing on Micah 6:8 and 1 John 4:7-12—and the call of love. Love makes the world go round! Our work as followers of Jesus Christ is to love God and one another and the world. John declares that "God is love." Ultimately, if there is love, there will be a way.
Leadership Team (Session) Updates
Rev. Rick Hull, Chair of the Presbytery Administrative Commission, introduced members of the AC to the Bethany congregation on April 7. He then went on to tell of the AC’s work.
Session invites all to another in a series of informal congregational meetings on Sunday, March 14, following the worship service.
All are invited to an information-gathering meeting hosted by Session and moderated by elder Jim Guida on Sunday, January 14, following the worship service.
Staying Connected
Every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Bethany presents an online worship service. Log on to Facebook at about 10:20 a.m. for beautiful music.

Bethany has a form for you to fill out with caregiver and emergency contact information. When you send it in, we will be able to know how to reach you in case of emergency.
